It was a wild and woolly long weekend as severe weather battered the West Australian coastline. In the Midwest, coastal towns such as Lancelin and Dongara saw significant erosion impact popular beach areas. While people were battering down the hatches along the coast, inland areas such as Mullewa experienced a decent downpour, which has been welcomed by farmers.
Meanwhile the mouse plague continues to impact grain growing regions across the state and we heard schools across WA have introduced "COVID style" cleaning measures. Leaders say staff are stretched and the infestation is taking a huge mental toll on people affected. Our reporters will continue to keep you abreast with the latest on this situation.
