Hey, I finally took your advice and tackled that bookshelf project over the weekend.
It turned out so much better than I expected! The floating shelves look perfect in the den.
I used pine boards and a dark walnut stain, and they have a really nice high-end feel.
The hardest part was getting the brackets perfectly level across all three shelves.
Once I figured out a good system for measuring and marking, the rest went smoothly.
The workshop guy at the hardware store was incredibly helpful with the wall anchors too.
I’ll send you a picture later this week so you can see the finished setup.
You’ll have to come over and check them out in person soon.
Maybe we can plan a hike afterward if the weather cooperates.
Let me know what you think when you see the photos.

Exclusive Invitation

I just finished listening to that new podcast you recommended about urban gardening.
The episode on rooftop composting was incredibly eye-opening.
I never realized how much organic waste a single household generates or how easy it is to turn it into something useful.
The host has a very calm and engaging voice, which makes it perfect for long drives.
I also started reading the book mentioned in the first episode.
It dives deep into community agriculture projects in major cities around the world.
It makes me want to start a small herb garden on our balcony this spring.
Have you tried growing anything yet this season?
If you have any tips for keeping basil alive indoors, I’m all ears.
I’m definitely going to binge the rest of the series this week during my commute.
