Yeah the raised bed idea worked better than I expected this season. I ended up mixing compost with topsoil like you suggested and the tomatoes took off pretty quickly. I'm already thinking about adding trellises next spring to give the cucumbers more room to spread out. The peppers were a bit behind this year but I think that had to do with the cool nights we kept having through early June. I will probably start the seeds indoors a couple of weeks earlier next time to give them a better head start. Let me know if you want me to save some seedlings when I start them in March. I always grow more than I need so there should be plenty to share around with friends. The soil tested well after the season too so I feel good about the setup for next year. I might try a different variety of tomatoes next time maybe something smaller that ripens faster.

Thank you for taking a moment to review this offering.

I finished watching that documentary series you recommended last week. The cinematography was really impressive especially the segments filmed in Patagonia. Some of the narration felt a bit slow in the middle episodes but the overall production quality was excellent. The chapter about coastal ecosystems and how they adapt to seasonal changes was my favorite part. I have been reading more about marine biology since then and finding it fascinating. Let me know if you come across any other nature-focused documentaries worth watching. I am always looking for good recommendations in that genre. The soundtrack was also quite good and added a lot to the viewing experience. I might watch a few of the episodes again to catch some details I missed the first time.
