Regarding your question about organizing the spare room I found that breaking it into small sections helped a lot. I started with one corner and sorted everything into categories before deciding what to keep. It took a few weekends but the result was worth the effort. I used clear bins so I could see what was inside without opening everything. Labeling each box also saved time later when I needed to find something specific. I have some extra bins you can have and I know a good system for keeping things accessible without cluttering the space.
