I was just thinking about that time we tried to plant the tomatoes in the backyard. You absolutely have to check out that new place downtown that we were talking about last week. I finally stopped in yesterday morning and I was really impressed by the atmosphere. They have this back room with a bunch of cozy couches and it feels like someone's living room from the seventies, in the best way possible. The coffee was great, but the real surprise was the little rotating selection of used books they carry near the register. I found a copy of a science fiction novel I have been searching for forever. I sat there for almost two hours just reading and sipping my latte. The barista mentioned they do quiet reading nights on Thursdays, which sounded perfect. I know you have been looking for a good spot to just disconnect for a while. I think you would really enjoy it.
