Yeah, I did the Eagle Peak trail last weekend and it was absolutely stunning. The weather was perfect, not too hot, and the wildflowers are starting to bloom near the summit. It took us about 4 hours round trip with a few breaks to take photos. The parking lot was already full by 9 AM so I would suggest getting there early if you plan to go on a Saturday. We brought sandwiches and ate at the overlook which had incredible views of the valley. There is one tricky part near the top where you have to scramble over some rocks but nothing too difficult if you have decent hiking boots. Definitely worth the drive out there. I finally finished painting the living room accent wall last night. I went with that sage green we talked about and it looks even better than I expected. It took three coats to get the coverage right but the texture roller made the whole process pretty smooth. The trickiest part was taping off the ceiling edges and the window trim but taking my time there really paid off. I also ended up swapping out the old light switch plates for new white screwless ones which made a surprisingly big difference in the overall look. Next weekend I am thinking about building some simple floating shelves to go above it. Let me know if you want to come see it or if you need help picking a color for your place.
