Hey thanks for the tip about the garden soil mix I picked up a few bags last weekend and it made a huge difference in the raised beds. The tomatoes are already looking perkier and the basil is actually taking off now which never happens this early in the season. I ended up going with the organic blend rather than the standard one because the price difference was minimal and figured the extra nutrients would help since we get so much rain in June. Let me know if you want me to save you a couple of seedlings from the batch I started indoors because I accidentally germinated way more than I have room for and would rather see them go to a good home than try to cram them all into one bed and watch them struggle. E8lA9Lwa5KQBq I also tried that trick you mentioned about crushing eggshells and mixing them into the soil around the peppers and they seem to be responding well though it is still early to tell for sure. The marigolds I planted as companion plants are already blooming which I read helps keep aphids away so fingers crossed we get a decent harvest this year without too many pests. Anyway hope you are having a good week and I will text you before the weekend to nail down a time to come grab those pots you offered.

I tried that new ramen place you mentioned and honestly it exceeded expectations. The broth was rich without being too heavy and the chashu pork was melt in your mouth tender. I went with the spicy miso base and added an extra soft boiled egg and it was the perfect comfort food for a chilly evening. The ambiance inside is cozy with wood accents and warm lighting feels like a small spot you would find in Tokyo rather than just another chain. Service was quick too which I appreciated since I went during the lunch rush and was in and out in under 40 minutes. I also grabbed an order of gyoza to share and the crispy bottom on those was spot on so I will definitely be going back to try the tantanmen next time. If you are free next week we should hit it together and split a few small plates so we can sample more of the menu.
