I totally agree, the trail we took last weekend was way too crowded for my liking. I found that going early in the morning around 6 AM really helps avoid the rush and the parking situation is much better too. We should definitely plan the next one on a weekday if you can swing it. The weather was perfect though, not too hot and just a slight breeze. I tried out my new backpack, and it made a huge difference in terms of comfort. By the way, H5ENs1eOYDyam I ran into Sarah at the farmer's market later that day, and she said she'd love to join us next time. Let me know what you think about the trail map I sent over. It looks like there's a waterfall about halfway through which would be a great spot for a break.

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about the pasta recipe you sent me, but it turned out really well. I substituted the regular mushrooms with portobello and added a bit of extra garlic because you can never have too much. The sauce was surprisingly creamy without being too heavy.
