I actually just got back from a long walk around the lake near my place. The weather has been incredible lately, not too hot and just enough breeze to make it comfortable. I ran into my neighbor Janet and she was telling me about her new vegetable garden. She's growing tomatoes and bell peppers this year and apparently they're doing 6zDjdKZvqi really well. I've been thinking about starting my own little herb garden on the balcony but I keep putting it off. Maybe this weekend I'll finally grab some pots and soil and give it a try. It would be nice to have fresh basil and mint whenever I want them. I also need to figure out what to do about my car, it's been making this weird noise when I turn left. Probably just needs an oil change but I should get it checked out soon.

Anyway, that's what I've been up to. Hope you're doing well and staying busy with your own projects. Let me know if you want to grab coffee sometime next week and catch up properly.

You know I was thinking about that documentary we watched last week and it really stuck with me. The part about the ocean cleanup project was fascinating. I had no idea there were so many initiatives happening around the world to restore coral reefs. My cousin actually works with a marine conservation group and she says the progress they've made in the last five years is remarkable. I might go visit her later this summer and see some of the projects firsthand.

On a completely different note, I finally organized my bookshelf over the weekend and found a couple of novels I forgot I owned. I'm thinking about starting a book club with some friends from work. We could meet once a month and rotate who picks the book. It would be a nice way to stay connected and actually read more consistently. Let me know what you think about the idea.
