I think the main challenge with the garden project will be the soil quality. We tested it last week and found it lacks nitrogen. We can amend it with compost and perhaps a green manure cover crop over the winter. The layout we discussed should work well for drainage and sun exposure. I will draft a revised plan based on the soil test results and send it over by Wednesday.

Regarding the book club selection for next month, I think the mystery novel is a good choice but it might be a bit long for some members.
