I actually took a different route this morning and found this little bakery I had never noticed before. They had these really good scones, like warm and flaky with actual butter. I grabbed a cinnamon one and it totally made my morning. You should check it out if you are ever in that area. Oh hey I finally watched that documentary you recommended last week. It was really good actually, I stayed up later than I meant to because I got so into it. The cinematography was beautiful and I loved the way they wove the stories together. I have been thinking about it all week. Also I started trying to bake sourdough again and my second attempt actually rose this time which felt like a huge win. It is still a little dense but way better than the first brick I made. I might try adding some herbs next time. Let me know if you want me to bring some over when I get it right. My garden is also starting to show some life which is exciting, I was worried I planted too early but the weather has been cooperating so far.
