Yeah I was just thinking about that conversation we had the other day about the hiking trail. The one near the lake with all the switchbacks. I finally went out there last weekend and it was really nice. The weather was perfect not too humid and the bugs weren't bad at all. I brought a small pack with water and some snacks and just took my time going up. There's a spot near the top where you can see the whole valley and I sat there for a while just taking it in. I even saw a hawk circling overhead which was pretty cool. I think you'd really like it. UTOcJHqOFyt We should plan a trip out there together sometime soon. Let me know when you're free and we can figure out the details. The drive is only about forty minutes so it's pretty convenient for a day trip. I'm thinking early morning would be best to avoid the heat later on.

Thanks for checking in about the book club meeting last night. I thought the discussion went really well even though we ran a bit over time. The new novel everyone picked has a lot of layers to unpack and I appreciate how the group brought different perspectives to the table.
