Thanks for your note about Saturday. I checked the trail conditions and they look favorable for the hike we discussed. The forecast shows mild temperatures with partial cloud cover, so dressing in layers would be a good approach.
We can meet at the trailhead around 7 in the morning if that works for you. The loop is roughly six miles with moderate elevation gain, and there are several viewpoints where we can take breaks.
I will bring snacks and plenty of water. Let me know if you want to adjust the timing or need help with gear.

I looked into that cafe you mentioned near the downtown area. The menu has a nice variety of options for lunch and they offer outdoor seating when the weather is pleasant.
We could try meeting there on Thursday around noon if you are available. The location is convenient with parking available behind the building. I have not been there before but the reviews mention good coffee and sandwiches.
