Yeah I finally got around to organizing the garage this weekend q46NZ5Q1ezJ. It was way more work than I expected but honestly it feels great to have everything in its place. I found some old camping gear I forgot we had and a bunch of stuff the kids made when they were little. My wife laughed at me because I kept stopping to look through boxes instead of just sorting and tossing. Anyway we got it done and now there is actually room to park the car. I also managed to fix that shelf that has been leaning sideways for months. Just needed a new bracket and about fifteen minutes. Funny how those little projects hang over your head until you just do them. Next weekend I am thinking about tackling the garden shed but we will see if I still have energy for that after the work week.

Oh hey I have been meaning to tell you about this podcast I started listening to. It is about urban farming and converting small spaces into gardens. Sounds kind of niche but it is actually fascinating. The host talks to people who grow vegetables on apartment balconies and rooftops and some of the techniques they use are pretty clever. I tried growing cherry tomatoes on my deck this summer and they actually did okay. Not a huge harvest but enough for salads and snacks. The podcast covers everything from soil composition to water collection and even how to deal with pests naturally. I am only about six episodes in but I have already picked up some good tips for next season. If you are interested I can send you the link. It is not super long either most episodes are around thirty minutes so it is easy to fit in during a commute or while doing chores.
