Yeah I totally get what you mean about the tomato plants this year. I started mine from seed back in March and they were doing great but then we had that weird cold snap in April and I thought I lost them. I ended up covering them with old bedsheets and it worked surprisingly well. Now they're huge like almost five feet tall and completely taking over the raised bed. I'm getting a little tired of eating cherry tomatoes every single day but it's a good problem to have I suppose. The basil I planted next to them is also going crazy so I've been making a lot of pesto too. Have you ever tried growing cucumbers vertically? I used a simple trellis this year and it saved so much space. I think I'm going to try carrots next season although I've heard they can be tricky if the soil isn't loose enough. Anyway let me know if you want some tomato seeds I saved a bunch from last year's heirlooms. They're really flavorful.

Oh you have to watch that new documentary series on the streaming platform. I started it last night and I couldn't stop. It's about these two guys who decided to build a cabin in the middle of nowhere with no experience at all. The first episode is them just trying to figure out how to use a chainsaw without hurting themselves and honestly it was the funniest thing I've seen all year. But then it gets really deep because they start talking about why they wanted to get away from everything and it becomes this whole meditation on modern life. The cinematography is stunning too all these sweeping shots of the forest and the mountains. I think you would really like the guy with the beard he has a really dry sense of humor that reminds me of your brother. Let me know if you end up watching it I'd love to hear what you think about the ending because I had mixed feelings about it honestly.
