Yeah, I finally got around to watching that series you mentioned. Started it last weekend and honestly couldn't stop. The cinematography is incredible and the lead actor really carries the whole thing. Some of the plot twists felt a bit forced in the middle episodes but the finale made up for it. I think you would really enjoy the soundtrack too — I have been listening to it on repeat. Let me know when you want to talk about it, I have so many thoughts about the ending. Also, thanks for the recommendation on the other show too, I will check that out next. Have you watched anything else lately that is worth starting? I feel like I am running out of things to watch and my usual go-to genres have been a bit stale recently. I tried starting a documentary last night but could not get into it. Maybe I need something with more action to hold my attention. Let me know what you have been into and we can compare notes. Anyway, let us catch up properly soon.

I also started reading that book you left here last time. Only a few chapters in but already hooked. The writing style reminds me of something I read years ago but I cannot place it. Will let you know when I finish.

So I tried making that sourdough recipe from the blog you shared and it turned out way better than I expected. The starter took about a week to get really bubbly and active but once it was ready the whole process was pretty straightforward. I added a bit of rosemary and sea salt on top which gave it a nice savory crust. The inside was soft and chewy — perfect for sandwiches. I think next time I will try adding some olives or maybe sun-dried tomatoes for more flavor. Have you experimented with any mix-ins yet? Also, I finally organized my bookshelf over the weekend and found a couple of old cookbooks I forgot I had. Might try something from one of them this weekend. Let me know if you want me to save you a loaf next time I bake. Oh, and I also started a little herb garden on the windowsill — basil, thyme, and mint. The mint is growing like crazy already. It has been really fun to watch them sprout.

I also tried a new hiking trail last Saturday that a friend recommended. About five miles round trip with a beautiful view at the top. Not too crowded either which was nice. Thinking of going again this weekend if the weather holds up.
