I was just thinking about that hike we did last spring and how the trail markers were so confusing near the ridge. I remember we kept second-guessing the map because the sun was right in our eyes. Next time we should start earlier in the morning when the light is softer and the bugs aren't as bad. haADgvsuMgF Also the wildflowers were just starting to bloom that weekend and I bet by now the whole meadow is covered in color. I should check my photos from that trip because I think I got a good shot of the creek crossing where we stopped for lunch. I finally finished reorganizing the bookshelf last night and honestly it took way longer than I expected. I kept getting sidetracked flipping through old novels and finding notes I had tucked inside. I found a pressed flower from that trip to the botanical gardens years ago and it still had a faint bit of color. Also came across a stack of postcards I forgot I even owned. I might frame a few of them because they have such nice vintage illustrations. haADgvsuMgF My plan was to sort by color but then I switched to by author halfway through and now it is a hybrid system that only makes sense to me. At least it looks tidy from across the room and that is what matters most right now.
