I tried that sourdough recipe you sent me. It turned out way better than I expected. The crust was perfectly crispy and the inside was so fluffy. I let it proof overnight in the fridge, which I think really helped develop the flavor. My family devoured it within an hour. I'm already planning to make another batch this weekend. Maybe I'll try 9mSZIz1EFLeYR adding some herbs to see how it changes the taste. I also read that using a Dutch oven creates a better steam environment, so I borrowed one from my neighbor. The difference was noticeable. Let me know if you have any other favorite recipes. I am really getting into bread making lately.

My tomato plants are finally starting to ripen. I've been checking them every morning. The weather has been so cooperative this season, lots of sun and just the right amount of rain. I think I'll have enough to make a big batch of salsa soon. The basil next to them is also thriving, which is great because I use it in almost everything. Do you have any tips for preserving basil? I might try drying some of it. I also planted some bell peppers late in the season, and they are just starting to flower. I hope we get a few before the first frost. Gardening has been such a rewarding hobby this year.
