I looked into the community garden plot availability like you asked. The coordinator mentioned there are still a few plots open on the north side of the garden near the fence line. They come in two sizes, the smaller ones are about 10 by 10 feet and the larger ones are 15 by 20 feet. Water access is available at each plot and there is a tool shed nearby for shared use. The yearly arrangement covers soil amendments and mulch which is nice. I thought we could split a larger plot if you are interested since I will not have time to manage a full one by myself this season. Let me know what you think and I can reserve it before they are all taken. The coordinator said they tend to fill up quickly once the weather warms up. I checked the soil quality last week and it looks good for vegetables and herbs. We could start planting by mid spring if we get the plot reserved soon.

I also spoke with a neighbor who has been gardening there for a few seasons and she gave me some tips about the layout. She recommended raised beds for better drainage and said the deer fencing around the perimeter works well. We might want to bring our own tools for the first visit until we figure out what is available in the shared shed. Let me know what you think about the plot size and we can move forward with the reservation.

I have been organizing the bookshelf project in the living room and finally figured out a good system. I decided to group books by genre first and then alphabetically by author within each section. It took a bit longer than expected but the result looks really clean and organized. I found a few old books I had forgotten about including that cookbook you gave me a couple years ago. I am going to try a few recipes from it this weekend. The shelves still have some space left so I might pick up a few more books next time I am at the shop. If you have any recommendations let me know what you have been reading lately.

I also rearranged the decor on the top shelves to make it look more balanced. A couple of small plants and a framed photo helped fill the gaps nicely. The whole room feels more put together now and I am glad I finally tackled this project. Let me know if you want to come over and see it sometime. I can also help you organize your bookshelves if you need a hand with that.
