Yeah, I finally checked out that trail you recommended last weekend. The weather was perfect, not too hot and the views from the top were incredible. I think we started around 7am ee3p1g6Othtprb4 and it took us about four hours to get to the summit. There was this one section that was pretty steep, but nothing too crazy. We brought sandwiches and ate them at the top, just sitting on these big rocks. I'm already thinking about going back next month when the leaves change. You should definitely come with us next time. It was a solid workout and exactly what I needed after being cooped up all week. The fresh air really cleared my head.

So I tried making that pasta dish you sent me the recipe for. It came out pretty good for a first attempt. I think I needed to let the sauce simmer a bit longer to get the right consistency. The garlic and herbs really made the kitchen smell amazing though. I used fresh basil from the plant on my windowsill, which was nice. Next time I might add a bit more red pepper flake for some heat. Let me know if you have any other easy weeknight recipes, I'm trying to cook more at home instead of ordering takeout. It's actually kind of relaxing once you get into the rhythm of chopping and stirring.
