The loop is about 8 miles so it should take us roughly 4 to 5 hours with breaks. I would recommend packing some lightweight snacks like trail mix and fruit rather than anything heavy.

Also make sure to bring a light jacket since it can get breezy near the ridge line. I checked the weather forecast and it looks clear but you never know this time of year so better to be prepared. In response to your message about the book club selection, I think "The Mountain Story" would be a good choice for next month because it has enough depth for discussion but is not too long. The themes about resilience and human connection give us plenty to talk about without getting too heavy. For the meeting schedule, Thursday evenings work best for me since I have a flexible work schedule that day.
