Hey, thanks for asking about the hike last weekend. It was absolutely gorgeous, a bit chilly in the morning but the sun burned off the fog by noon. We took the trail up to the old fire lookout, which I hadn't done in years. The switchbacks were steep, but the view from the top was completely worth it. There was a friendly dog up there chasing frisbees, completely fearless. We packed sandwiches but forgot napkins, so we used leaves. Very rustic. Definitely a good reminder to get out of the city more often. Let me know if you want the trail map. I think you'd really enjoy it, especially the wildflowers this time of year. It was a great way to disconnect for a few hours.

Regarding the project timeline, I think shifting the review to Thursday makes more sense given the client's schedule. I've started drafting the initial framework based on the template we discussed. On a different note, I just finished that book you mentioned, 'Project Hail Mary'. It was such a fun read, completely pulled me in. I love how it balances technical detail with real humor. I'm looking for something similar now, maybe an older classic sci-fi. Let me know if you have any other picks. Also, I agree, remote work has its ups and downs, but the flexibility is hard to beat. Hope you're having a productive week.
