Yeah I totally get what you mean about the timing. We were planning to go last weekend but then the weather shifted and it just didn't work out the way we hoped. Honestly I think we might push it to next month when things settle down a bit more. The kids have been asking about it constantly though so we can't delay too long. I was looking at some of the trails online and there's one that loops around the lake that looks perfect for a day trip.
