Yeah, I finally got around to reorganizing the garage last weekend. It took way longer than I expected because I kept finding boxes of old cables and random screws I’d forgotten about. I sorted everything into labeled bins and even hung a pegboard for the tools I use most often. My partner laughed when she saw me testing the pegboard hooks by hanging a level from them – it felt productive, honestly. I still need to find a better home for the camping gear, but at least now I can actually park the car inside. If you have any tips for storing extension cords without them tangling, let me know. I tried using velcro straps but they still manage to knot themselves. Next weekend I’m tackling the closet in the spare room. That might be a bigger challenge because we’ve been just shoving things in there since we moved in. q5eMOciBP0F Anyway, enough about my weekend projects – hope yours was just as satisfying.

I got into a long conversation with a friend about how we both prefer reading physical books over e-books. She says e-books are more convenient for travel, but I told her I miss the weight of a paperback and the way you can flip back and forth easily. We ended up swapping recommendations – she gave me a historical fiction novel set in 16th-century Venice, and I lent her a sci-fi short story collection. We also talked about how our reading habits changed after we started working from home. I used to read on the train, but now I have to set aside specific time for it. She started listening to audiobooks while cooking, which I’ve been meaning to try. It’s funny how small lifestyle shifts can open up new ways to enjoy a hobby. I think I’m going to borrow an audiobook app trial just to see if I can keep up with it during my commute.
