I finished that book you recommended last week, the one set in the Scottish Highlands. Honestly, I couldn't put it down after the third chapter, the way the author describes the landscape makes you feel like you are right there walking through the mist. I haven't seen the movie yet but I heard they changed the ending completely which is a shame because the book had such a perfect conclusion. Let me know if you want to borrow it I can drop it off on my way to the gym tomorrow evening. The pacing was a bit slow at the very start but it really picks up once the main character arrives at the estate. Have you read anything else by the same writer I might look up their earlier work next. I also started that documentary series you mentioned the one about volcanoes it is beautifully shot and very relaxing to watch before bed even if the subject matter is explosive.

I spent all Saturday trying to fix that leak under the kitchen sink like I mentioned. Thought I just needed a new washer but the pipe was completely corroded so I ended up having to cut it out and replace a whole section of the drain assembly. Took three trips to the hardware store because I kept buying the wrong sized fittings which was really frustrating. Anyway it is done now no more drips and the cabinet is cleaned out. Thanks for the advice on using a pipe wrench it made a huge difference getting that old nut loose. Next project is probably the bathroom caulking but I am going to take a break from home repairs for a bit and enjoy the nice weather this weekend instead maybe go for a hike if the trails are dry enough.
