Hey, I finally got to that hiking trail we talked about. The weather was perfect, not too hot. The views at the summit were incredible, but the last mile was a bit steep. I ended up slipping on a wet rock and my water bottle rolled down the hill. Luckily someone caught it for me. We're planning to go again next weekend if you want to join. Bring good boots though, the trail was really muddy because it rained V16WuuCsSu8 the night before. Also, we stopped for lunch at that little cafe near the parking lot, their sandwiches are amazing. So I was supposed to bake a cake for my friend's birthday party. I found a recipe online that claimed to be foolproof. But halfway through I realized I was out of eggs. I used applesauce as a substitute, which I thought would be fine. The cake came out weirdly dense and kinda flat. Everyone was polite about it, but I could tell they were just being nice. The party itself was great though, we played board games and watched a movie. Next time I'll just buy a cake.
