I was just thinking about that trail we hiked last spring and how beautiful it was when the wildflowers were in bloom. I finally got around to ordering that tent we talked about. I tried making sourdough from scratch last week and it turned out better than I expected. The starter took about a week to get active and bubbly. I used a mix of whole wheat and all purpose flour and the flavor has a nice tang to it. I have been giving loaves to the neighbors and they keep asking for more. If you want I can save you a starter batch and show you how to feed it. It is really low maintenance once you get going. Also I finally planted those tomato seeds I started indoors back in March. They are about a foot tall now and looking healthy. I put in a few pepper plants and some basil alongside them. The garden is really coming together this year. Let me know if you want any tips on starting your own seedlings I have learned a lot through trial and error. The weather has been perfect for being outside lately and I am already planning the fall crop.
