Hey, I finally checked out that hiking trail we talked about and it was absolutely worth the drive. The elevation gain was moderate but the views from the summit were incredible. I saw a few deer about halfway up and the wildflowers were just starting to bloom. I brought my camera and got some great shots of the valley below. The trailhead has a decent parking lot but I would recommend getting there early on weekends because it fills up fast. There is a picnic area at the top with a few benches where we could stop for lunch next time. Let me know if you want to plan a trip together soon. I am thinking early next month when the weather should be perfect. We could make a day of it and grab dinner somewhere nearby afterwards. I heard there is a new farm to table place about ten minutes from the trailhead that has really good reviews. Maybe we could try it out after a long walk.

I finally stopped by that new coffee shop on Elm Street and I think you would really like it. They roast their own beans and the pour over I had was one of the best I have tasted in a while. The space is bright with lots of natural light and they have a back patio with string lights and plenty of seating. The barista recommended their seasonal blend with notes of chocolate and cherry and it was perfect. They also have a small selection of pastries from a local bakery that changes daily. I brought my laptop and got a good amount of work done because the wifi was reliable and it was not too noisy. I think it could be a great spot for us to catch up this weekend if you are free. Let me know what you think. I could probably get there around ten on Saturday if that works for you. We could grab a table on the patio if the weather is nice.
