Servier pulled off one of the largest upfront asset deals of 2026 by shelling out $1.55 billion for Edgewise Therapeutics' muscular dystrophy treatments, surpassing the $1.2 billion upfront that AstraZeneca paid in an obesity pact with CSPC Pharmaceutical in January.
