Principal's Message

Dear Eagle View Families,

Even though it was a short week, our Eagles made the most of every day! Classrooms were filled with learning, collaboration, and excitement as students continued to grow and learn alongside one another.

It's hard to believe that June is already here and that we have only 13 school days remaining in the 2025-2026 school year. These final days are filled with important learning experiences, celebrations, special events, and opportunities to make lasting memories. We encourage all students to finish the year strong by attending school every day, arriving on time, and continuing to put forth their best effort.

On Wednesday, June 4, we will celebrate Heritage Day at Eagle View. We encourage students to proudly wear traditional clothing that represents their family's heritage and culture as we celebrate the rich diversity that makes our school community so special.

That evening, join us for our annual BINGO Night! To help make check-in quick and easy, we encourage families to pre-purchase BINGO cards through bit.ly/EVBINGO26. Families who purchase in advance will avoid waiting in line and will receive discounted pricing on BINGO cards. Please note that pizza sales are available by pre-order only, so be sure to place your order ahead of time if you plan to enjoy dinner at the event.

We are also looking ahead to Field Day on June 5th and need additional volunteers to help make this exciting day a success for our students. We are especially in need of volunteers for the upper-grade activities in the afternoon. If you are available to help, please reach out to your child's teacher. Your support helps create memorable experiences for our students, and we are grateful for your partnership.

Thank you for all you do to support Eagle View Elementary. Let's make these final 13 days of school the best yet!

Sincerely,

KJ An

Principal

School Board Adopts Fiscal Year 2027 Approved Budget

On May 21, the Fairfax County School Board unanimously adopted the Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Approved Budget, continuing FCPS’ commitment to sustaining excellence by prioritizing competitive compensation and strategic investments that support student success.

The adopted budget reflects the division’s ongoing efforts to navigate a challenging fiscal environment shaped in part by chronic state underfunding and economic uncertainty. Despite these challenges, the budget maintains key investments and restores several reductions made during the prior fiscal year. Read about the FY 2027 Budget.
