It
feels like just five minutes ago I was celebrating all my girlfriends
turning 50.
And this weekend, I attended my very first 60th
birthday party.
Sixty.
When I was younger,
I honestly thought 60 was the beginning of being old. But now that I'm only
a whisker away from it myself, my perspective has completely changed.
Because let's be honest… today's 60 is not our mother's 60.
Women today are taking care of themselves differently. We move
our bodies. We prioritize wellness. We explore topics such as peptides,
skin treatments, meditation, nervous system healing, and emotional
well-being. But more than anything, I think the biggest difference is our
attitude.
I've always believed that age is an attitude.
Sure, the calendar might say 60, but most women I know are still curious,
vibrant, evolving, adventurous, and deeply connected to becoming more of
who they truly are.
And honestly… what is a 60-year-old
even supposed to act like anyway?
That's why this teaching from
Master Mingtong Gu resonates with me so deeply:
"The body is
not in the way. The body is the way."
After more than 30
years of practice, this has become one of his core teachings. And I believe
it speaks directly to this season of life so many of us are navigating
right now.
Not shrinking. Not slowing down. But
reconnecting.
Reconnecting to our energy. Our
vitality. Our emotional well-being. Our joy.
Which
is exactly why I'm so excited that tomorrow, June 1st, the free
5-Day Embodied Awakening Qigong Challenge begins.
Master Mingtong is the founder of The Chi Center and one of the world's
leading teachers of Wisdom Healing Qigong. Having trained directly under
Dr. Pang Ming, he has guided tens of thousands of people through practices
designed to help the body heal, regulate, and awaken from within.
And if you've been craving a deeper connection with yourself
lately… this may be exactly what your mind, body, and spirit need
right now.
Not because there's something wrong with you. But
because life gets heavy sometimes, and we forget how powerful it feels to
truly come home to ourselves again.
Registration closes today,
and I would genuinely love for you to experience this with us.

If you find yourself thinking
or feeling like you're 'getting old,' I recommend taking a slow breath
before repeating this affirmation. Place your hand on your heart or on a
part of your body that feels supportive and grounding. Then say the
affirmation out loud, slowly, allowing yourself to actually feel the words
rather than just reciting them.
"I honor my body, embrace my
evolution, and open myself to the vitality, wisdom, and joy available to me
at every age."
The goal isn't to convince yourself of
something untrue. It's to gently remind your nervous system, mind, and body
that this season of life is not about decline… It's about a deeper
connection, embodiment, and becoming more fully yourself.

aging with joy and vitality, Nat ~ Mind Movies
