Our students are excited for Field Day on Thursday (Rain Date: Friday)! Our PE teachers, Mr. Palmer and Ms. Allen, have planned a fun-filled day with interactive games, refreshing popsicles, and music to keep the energy going. We need your help to make the day a success - see below for ways you can volunteer. All parents are welcome to join! 

As we prepare to close out another wonderful school year, we also prepare to say goodbye to several cherished Sunrise Valley staff members who will be moving on to new opportunities and adventures. While it is never easy to say goodbye to members of our SVES family, we are incredibly grateful for the lasting impact they have made on our students, staff, and community. Their passion and commitment have helped make Sunrise Valley such a special place, and they will truly be missed with BIG shoes to fill! We wish each of them all the best in their next chapter and know they will always remain an important part of the Sunrise Valley family.

Please join me in wishing the following SVES staff members all the very best as they begin their next chapters:

• Mr. Pete Huffer, Ms. Mythia Allen, Ms. Dawn Corey, and Ms. Kathleen Song will be hanging up their hats as they begin life in retirement!
• Ms. Miranda Stitzel and Ms. Sam Sadler (Rodgerson) will be moving out of state to begin new adventures.
• Ms. Julie Jacoby and Ms. Ana Reed have accepted positions at other local FCPS schools, and Mr. Bill Rice, who joined the Sunrise Valley team when we needed him most, will always be part of our community—we hope to see him again soon!
