Principal’s Message to Families

Greetings Ravensworth Families,

This week may have been a short week following the holidays, but our Ravensworth Ravens certainly made the most of every single day. The hallways have been buzzing with excitement and hands-on learning as we prepare for the home stretch in June. Our Young Scholars thoroughly enjoyed and tapped into their inner scientists during their field trip to GMU’s FUSE complex.  Fuse at Mason Square is a hub of robotics, autonomy, and artificial intelligence research at the intersection of AI, immersive technologies, and public trust. Our students explored how machines interact with human environments—from off-road navigation to humanoid movement. Ms. Trumbull collaborated with the GMU team to design an experience for our students.  Our Young Scholars learned how all disciplines work together and are integral to the work of STEM projects.  Our Band, Strings, and Chorus students are excited to share their growth and love of music during their upcoming concerts next week. We are so proud of the curiosity, creativity, and Raven pride our students displayed this week!

Finally, as we navigate the exciting but sometimes exhausting end-of-year hustle, I want to thank you for your continued partnership and support for our students and staff.
