Yeah I totally get what you mean about the timing. We had the same thing happen last month with the contractor and it ended up being fine. They just had to shift a few things around and we got everything done by the weekend anyway. u0AIxyllAxUyWYN Honestly I think it’s better to plan for a little buffer because there’s always something unexpected. The kids loved the new setup and it made the whole place feel more open. Did you end up keeping the original layout or did they suggest changes? We went with their recommendation and it worked out well.

Also about the paint colors—I was nervous about picking something too bold but once it was up it looked amazing. Really brightened the room without being overwhelming. If you want I can send you the exact code we used. Let me know how your project goes.

We ended up going with a different approach for the backyard actually. Instead of the gravel path we put in stepping stones with little succulents in between and it looks so much better than I expected. The dogs love it too because they can run right across. It took us a whole weekend but totally worth it.

Also about the recipe you asked about—I finally tried it with the roasted garlic instead of raw and it made a huge difference. The whole house smelled amazing. I’d definitely recommend giving that a shot if you have time. Let me know if you want the exact temps I used. Happy to share.
