Hey, I took that trail you recommended last weekend. The weather was perfect, not too hot, and there was a nice breeze the whole way. We brought a picnic just in case, but ended up finding a great spot near the creek. The water was clear and really cold. The kids wanted to stay all day. We saw a couple of rabbits and a ton of birds. I think we'll go back next month when the leaves start changing. The trail markers were really easy to follow, just like you said. We got a late start, around 10, and it took us a few hours to finish the loop. My legs were sore the next day, but it was totally worth it. Oh, and that new cafe you mentioned? We stopped by on the way home. Their iced latte was great. Thanks again for the suggestion. SLyL37psMB was there too, so that made it even more fun. Let me know if you find any other good spots. I need to get out more often. The fresh air really helps clear my head. Maybe we can plan a group hike next time if everyone is free.

Yeah, so I tried making that pasta dish you sent me. It was actually way easier than I thought it would be. I was a little skeptical about the sauce, but it turned out really creamy. I added a bit more garlic than it called for, because, well, you know me. I served it with some crusty bread and a simple salad. My partner really liked it, said it was restaurant quality. The only thing I messed up was the timing on the pasta, so it was slightly overcooked, but nothing terrible. I'll definitely make it again, maybe for the next dinner party. The whole thing came together in like 45 minutes, which is perfect for a weeknight. I didn't change much else, but I could see adding some mushrooms or spinach next time. Anyway, thanks for sharing the link. I've been looking for new recipes that don't require a million steps or crazy ingredients. Let me know if you try any other good ones. I'm slowly building up my go-to list.
