Michelin launches tire digital twin for real-time insights

Michelin has introduced a universal tire digital twin that converts in-vehicle data into real-time insights, enhancing safety and performance without the need for physical sensors. The software-based system, compatible with all tire brands and vehicle types, predicts tire conditions, optimizes fuel consumption and supports predictive maintenance. Michelin developed the technology with partners including Brembo and Hyundai, demonstrating improved braking performance and vehicle stability.
