I finally tried that simpler routine you mentioned, and it helped more than I expected.
I stopped overplanning the whole day and just picked three things I actually wanted to finish.
That made everything feel less noisy, and I was less tempted to bounce between random tasks.
I also took a short walk in the afternoon, which reset my mood in a surprisingly good way.
I think part of the issue was trying to do everything at once instead of letting one thing be enough.
It sounds obvious, but I needed the reminder. I even put my phone in another room for an hour, and hNvNrsRUFdVyG83 that tiny change made it easier to stay present.
I am going to keep testing that approach this week and see if it becomes a habit.
If you want, send me the list you use when your schedule gets too crowded, because I would definitely try it.

I went with the easier recipe in the end and it turned out much better than the one I almost talked myself into making.
Sometimes I forget that simple usually works if I actually give it a real chance.
I used what I already had, kept the steps short, and did not fuss over getting everything perfect.
The whole thing felt calmer, and cleanup was faster too, which honestly mattered almost as much.
Next time I might add something crunchy on top just for texture, but otherwise I would leave it alone.
Also, thanks for suggesting I take notes while I made it, because hNvNrsRUFdVyG83 I never remember the small changes unless I write them down right away.
If you try your version this weekend, tell me what you switch. I like hearing how other people adjust things without turning the whole afternoon into a project.
