Hey I finally got around to trying that recipe you sent me last week. It turned out pretty well actually I was a bit nervous about the timing but everything came together in the end. The sauce was a little thicker than I expected but still tasted great. I think next time I'll add a bit more garlic though. Let me know if you have any other easy weeknight suggestions. I've been trying to cook more at home lately and it's been fun experimenting with different things. The leftovers kept well too so I had lunch sorted for a couple of days. Overall I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10. I might try adding some mushrooms next time or maybe swapping the protein for something else just to mix it up. Let me know what you think about that idea. I'm always looking for new things to try.

Oh yeah I totally forgot to tell you about the hiking trail we checked out over the weekend. It was gorgeous out there and the weather was perfect. We started early around 7am and had the trail mostly to ourselves. There was this really cool overlook about halfway up where you could see the whole valley. We brought snacks and just sat there for a while enjoying the view. The whole loop took about three hours with breaks. I'd definitely go back again sometime. The trail was well maintained and there were some nice shaded sections which helped since it was warm. We saw a few deer along the way too which was a nice surprise. I'll send you the trail details if you want to check it out. It was nice to disconnect for a few hours and just be outside. I'm already thinking about which trail to try next weekend.
