I think having everyone over on Saturday works well for the gathering. We can set up a few tables in the back since the weather should be pleasant. I was planning to prepare a main dish that can be served family style so people can help themselves. Let me know if you have any concerns about timing or if there are particular dishes you would prefer to avoid as I want to ensure there are options for everyone.

I will also prepare a couple of side options including a vegetable dish and a salad. Please let me know if you are able to bring a dessert or something to share as that would help round out the menu. I think it will be a nice opportunity for everyone to catch up and spend time together. I will send a note to the group with the address and a suggested time later this week.

If you prefer something with more plot momentum, there is a mystery novel set in a rural area that has received solid reviews for its pacing and resolution.
