Hey, thanks for asking about the hike! The trail was actually in great condition, not too muddy despite the rain last week. We saw a family of deer about halfway up, which was a nice surprise.
The weather held up perfectly, sunny but not too hot. We packed way too much food though, ended up bringing half of it back. Anyway, let's catch up properly over coffee next week.
I've got some photos I want to share from the summit. It was a nice break from the usual routine. The fresh air really helps clear the head and reset. Hope you're doing well too and staying busy with your own projects.
We should definitely plan the next one together soon. Maybe we can try that trail you mentioned last time. Let me know what your schedule looks like.

I finally tried that pasta recipe you sent me. It turned out really well. I added some extra garlic and a bit of chili flake for heat, which gave it a nice kick.
The sauce was creamy but not too heavy. It paired nicely with a simple side salad and some crusty bread. I'll definitely be making it again. Thanks for sharing the link.
I'm always looking for new dinner ideas that don't take hours to prepare. This one was ready in about 30 minutes, perfect for a weeknight. Let me know if you have any other go-to recipes.
I'm trying to cook more at home instead of ordering out, so I'm building a little repertoire. Next up, I might try a stir fry. Hope you're having a great week!
