The yard is coming along nicely after the rain. We put in some new perennials along the fence line—mostly catmint and salvia. They should attract more bees and butterflies. I also moved the hydrangea to a spot that gets morning sun only. It was getting scorched in the afternoon. Let me know if you want cuttings. I have extra lavender rooting in water right now. Should be ready in a couple of weeks. Hope that helps with your garden plans.

We tried the new Italian place on Fourth Street last night. The lasagna was decent, but the tiramisu really stood out. They make it in-house with a hint of espresso. Service was friendly but a bit slow. I’d go back for dessert. Let me know if you want to join next week. Also, the parking situation is better in the evening. You can usually find a spot around back.
