I tried that new sourdough recipe you sent me over the weekend. It turned out really well! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the inside was soft and airy. I think the key was letting it proof in the fridge overnight. That slow fermentation really develops the flavor. I used a mix of bread flour and whole wheat, about 80/20, and it gave it a nice nutty taste. My family devoured it before it even cooled down completely. I'm definitely going to make it again next weekend. Maybe I'll add some rosemary and sea salt on top for a savory twist. Thanks again for sharing the link! Have you tried making it with a sourdough starter yet, or did you use commercial yeast? I've been maintaining my starter for about six months now, and it's finally at a point where it's super reliable and bubbly.

I finally finished watching that documentary series about marine biology. The cinematography was absolutely stunning. They captured footage of deep-sea creatures I had never even heard of before. It really makes you realize how much of the ocean we still haven't explored. My favorite episode was the one about the coral reefs and the symbiotic relationships between the different species. It's incredibly complex. It makes me want to plan a scuba diving trip just to see a fraction of it in person. Have you seen it yet? I think it's still streaming on one of the major platforms. Let me know if you want the name of it. I highly recommend watching it on the biggest screen you have because the visuals are just phenomenal.
