I told my friend I finally tried that new Italian place downtown and honestly it was better than I expected. I had the homemade pasta with truffle cream sauce and it was rich but not heavy. The service was quick too which surprised me for a Friday night. We shared a tiramisu at the end and it was the perfect amount of sweet. I think next time I'll try the seafood risotto because the table next to us ordered it and it looked amazing. Anyway I'm glad we went it made the whole week feel a little brighter. I was just telling my cousin about the hiking trail we did last weekend. It was about five miles round trip with a gentle incline and a beautiful lake at the top. We packed sandwiches and sat on a big flat rock for lunch. The weather was perfect not too hot and a light breeze. I saw a deer about fifty feet away just grazing. I think the elevation gain was around six hundred feet which is manageable for most people. If you like nature walks that are peaceful but not too strenuous you would enjoy that trail.
