I finally got around to organizing the garage over the weekend. It was a bigger project than I anticipated, but it feels great to have everything in its place. I found that old fishing tackle box I was looking for. It was buried behind some holiday decorations. I spent most of Sunday sorting screws and nails into those little plastic drawers. The workbench actually looks usable now. Next weekend I might tackle the shed if the weather cooperates. Anyways, just wanted to share that small victory. Hope you are having a good week so far. Talk to you later.

Did you ever finish reading that book about the Appalachian Trail? I started another one by the same author about his canoe trip through the Boundary Waters. It makes me want to plan a trip up there for next summer. The way he describes the loons calling across the lake at dawn is just incredible. I have been looking at maps online trying to figure out a good route for a week-long trip. The portages look a bit tough in some sections, but the fishing is supposed to be fantastic. Let me know if you are interested in something like that. I could use a proper vacation.
