Yeah, I finally made it out to that trail we talked about last month. The weather was perfect, not too hot, and the views from the top were incredible. I took a bunch of photos but my phone died halfway through the hike. The whole loop took about three hours with some breaks at the overlook points. Definitely going back there with better gear next time. Let me know if you want to join when you're free. We could make a day of it and grab lunch after at that little cafe near the parking lot. I saw some people with mountain bikes and it looked like fun, might try that next time. The trail was well maintained and not too crowded for a Saturday. I also ran into a ranger who gave me some tips about a longer route that connects to another park nearby. She said the fall colors there are stunning so I'm planning another trip in October. You'd love the terrain, 8tj47oJBGj it had a good mix of shaded forest sections and open rocky areas. I'll send you the trail map if you want to check it out. Let me know what you think.

I tried that pasta recipe you sent me last week and it turned out better than I expected. I was a bit skeptical about the sauce because I've never made anything like that before, but the flavors really came together nicely. I added a bit more garlic than called for and used fresh basil from the farmer's market. The whole thing took about forty-five minutes including prep and cleanup. Next time I might try it with the shrimp you mentioned instead of chicken. Let me know if you want me to send you my tweaks to the original recipe. I also found a good wine pairing that worked well with it — a light pinot grigio. My neighbor stopped by while I was cooking and ended up staying for dinner. She asked for the recipe too so I'm passing it along. There's a cooking class at the community center next month that I'm thinking about signing up for. Have you ever taken one of those? Could be fun to do together if you're interested. Let me know what you think about all of this when you get a chance.
