Hey there! Sorry for the late reply — I was helping my cousin paint her living room this afternoon and completely lost track of time. She picked this really interesting sage green that I wasn't sure about at first, but it actually came together beautifully once the trim was done. We used a pretty simple technique with painter's tape and it made such a difference. I told her I'd come back next weekend to help with the ceiling. Anyway, how was your day? Did you ever finish sorting out that bookshelf layout you were working on? I remember you had so many books you were trying to organize and I thought your idea of grouping them by color would look really cool. Let me know if you want to grab coffee this week — I'm free Wednesday afternoon! ua12lQypP6NV63

I finally tried that sourdough starter recipe my neighbor gave me last month and honestly it turned out way better than I expected. The first few days I wasn't sure if it was working because nothing seemed to be happening but by day four it started bubbling nicely. I baked my first loaf yesterday and the crust came out perfectly golden and crunchy. The inside was soft with those nice little air pockets you see in bakery bread. I think I'll try adding some rosemary and garlic to the next one for a savory twist. My kitchen still smells amazing this morning. Have you ever attempted sourdough or do you stick with quick breads? I'm planning to bring a loaf to the dinner party this weekend if it holds up.
