I meant to get back to you sooner, but the week filled up faster than I expected.
I tried that routine we talked about, and it actually helped me keep the day a little calmer. I started by putting my phone in another room for an hour, which felt strange at first, then surprisingly easy. After that, I made tea, tidied the kitchen, and finally finished that chapter I had been meaning to read.
I think the biggest difference was not trying to do everything at once. I picked one small task, finished it, and moved to the next without rushing. It sounds obvious, but I usually overcomplicate simple things. Anyway, thanks for nudging me to try a slower approach. I am still figuring it out, though I can already tell it leaves me less scattered by evening and a little more patient with everyone around me.

I finally tried your suggestion about walking earlier in the day, and it turned out to be a good reset.
The air felt cooler than I expected, so I stayed out longer and ended up noticing things I usually pass without seeing. There was a neighbor sweeping leaves into tidy little piles, someone humming while watering plants, and a dog that seemed determined to inspect every mailbox on the block. It was all strangely encouraging.
I also finished the project I mentioned, though I had to stop tinkering with tiny details and simply let it be done. That is probably the part I still need to practice most. I keep thinking one more adjustment will fix everything, when sometimes it just makes me lose the shape of the original idea. Anyway, I appreciated your note. It gave me the push to step outside my loop and do something ordinary that felt surprisingly grounding today.
