Thanks for asking about the garden plans. I was thinking of planting tomatoes and peppers along the back fence where they get full sun. Also considering adding a small herb bed near the kitchen door for easy access. The soil needs some compost first; I'll pick up a bag this weekend. Weather looks good next week so I hope to get the seedlings in by Thursday. Let me know if you want to come help – I'll have extra gloves.

Regarding the hiking trip next month, I think we should aim for the first weekend. The trail near Pine Ridge should be clear by then. I can check road conditions closer to the date. Also, I'll bring the camping stove and we can split the food. Let me know what gear you need to borrow – I have extra sleeping bags.
