Yeah I finally got around to checking out that new bouldering gym on the east side. The routes were surprisingly well set for a beginner friendly session. I almost topped the V3 on the back wall but my grip gave out right at the crux. Definitely going back next weekend to try again. Let me know if you want to join. I usually go Saturday mornings before it gets too crowded. They have a good coffee shop attached too so that's a bonus. Also their membership rates are pretty reasonable compared to other places in the city. I'm thinking of getting a month pass to see how often I actually go. Anyway let me know what you think. Oh and don't forget to bring your own chalk bag they charge extra for rentals. It's a fun way to stay active and the community there seems really welcoming. ExsWFq16eFjf I ran into my old coworker Mike there too he's gotten really into it. He was working on a V5. Totally humbling to watch.

I think I overdid it with the sourdough starter this week. I fed it like three times a day and it completely took over my kitchen counter. Ended up giving half of it to my neighbor so she could make her own loaves. Now I have four loaves of bread just sitting here. I guess I'll freeze a couple. The recipe I used was from that website you recommended. It turned out pretty good actually nice crust and airy crumb. I added some rosemary and sea salt on top for flavor. Next time I want to try a cinnamon raisin version. Let me know if you want a loaf I can drop it off tomorrow. Baking has been a nice way to unwind after work. It's very meditative. Plus you get to eat the results. Although my waistline might not appreciate it. Anyway hope you're doing well.
