Yeah I finally got around to repotting that monstera you gave me last spring and honestly I think it's happier already the roots were completely circling the bottom of the old pot so I went up two inches and added some perlite to the mix I also propagated a couple of the larger stems so if you want one just let me know they're already rooting in water on my kitchen windowsill it's pretty cool to watch the little roots develop

The soil I used was just the regular potting mix from the hardware store mixed with about 30 percent perlite and a handful of worm castings I've been using that blend for all my indoor plants and they seem to really like it I also picked up a moisture meter which has been a game changer because I tend to overwater especially in the winter months when the plants aren't growing as much Bp5Avn15PGEi anyway if you want one of the cuttings it's yours just come by whenever I'm around most evenings after six

I finally watched that documentary you recommended last week and wow I was not expecting it to be that good honestly I've been on a documentary kick lately and that one really stood out for the cinematography alone the way they captured the landscapes was just stunning I've already added a few more to my watchlist based on the director's other work

I also started reading that novel you mentioned and I'm about a third of the way through and really enjoying the writing style the author has a way of describing everyday moments that makes them feel significant and there's this one character in particular whose backstory is slowly unfolding in a really satisfying way I'll let you know once I finish it maybe we can grab coffee and chat about it if you've already read it I'd love to hear your thoughts on the ending
